Core Values
01. Respect
Respect for oneself, respect for others, respect for authority and respect for the environment are essential values of a private high school. Students must learn to treat each other with respect, and to show respect to teachers and staff. Respect for the environment is also important, as this encourages a sense of responsibility for the world around us.
02. Integrity
This means being honest and having a moral compass. Integrity also means being consistent and coherent in one’s actions and words. New Lake High School students should strive to be honest and reliable in all aspects of their lives.
03. Responsibility
Students must learn to take responsibility. This includes taking responsibility for their studies/learning, their behavior and their own actions. Learning to be responsible is essential for success at New Lake High School and in each and every student’s personal development and future.
04. Commitment
This means being dedicated to the school’s mission and to achieving one’s goals. New Lake High School students should strive to be committed to their studies and to their extracurricular activities
05. Excellence
New Lake High School students should strive to be the best that they can be. This includes setting high standards for themselves and their peers. Excellence can be achieved through hard work, dedication, and a commitment to success.
